Free Unlimited Access to Rides with Just the Entrance Ticket! Free Admission for Babies Under 36 Months!
Last weekend, I visited the Korean Folk Village in Yongin with my parents and nieces and nephews!
The best part? Once you pay the entrance fee, you can enjoy all the amusement rides for free—no extra charge, no long wait times! It was such a smooth and fun-filled day. Today, I’ll share a helpful guide to the amusement rides in the Folk Village’s “Play Village,” organized by height requirements—especially focusing on rides that kids under 90cm can enjoy with a parent!

Korean Folk Village Ride Guide
Rides Toddlers Under 90cm Can Enjoy – No Height Restrictions When Riding with a Parent!
Boat Ride – Suitable for kids over 90cm, but little ones under 90cm can still ride with mom or dad!

It’s a fun log boat ride that takes you on a gentle journey along a waterway! 🚤💦
You’ll find it located between the World Folk Museum and the amusement park area.
Even little ones under 80cm can enjoy the ride when accompanied by a parent or guardian!
Carousel – Kids over 100cm can ride solo, while younger children under 100cm can enjoy the ride with mom or dad!
The carousel was a total hit with my little one—we hopped on three times back-to-back without any wait! Gotta love that kind of VIP treatment 😉
Korean Folk Village’s Play Village is seriously underrated. Fun, no crowds, and super budget-friendly!

Bounce Spin – For children over 100cm / Under 100cm can ride with an accompanying adult

This ride takes you up and down in sync with the rhythm, soaring through the wind for a thrilling flying experience! 🛫🎶
It’s actually suitable for toddlers under 100cm and even as young as 30 months old, as long as they ride with a parent.
But… my little one got scared at the last minute, so we ended up skipping it! 😂💨 Maybe next time!
Loop Train – For children over 110cm / Under 110cm can ride with an accompanying adult

It’s a cute little train that takes you on a tour around the amusement park area of the Korean Folk Village! 🚂✨
And that’s the last of the rides that toddlers under 90cm can enjoy with a parent — no height restrictions needed! 👶👨👩👧
Perfect for families with little ones!
List of Rides by Height Requirement – Starting from 90cm and Up
Mini Viking – Only kids between 90cm and 135cm can ride this one!

Even little kids can ride the Viking too! ⚓🎉
As long as they’re over 90cm tall, they’re good to go!
But! Kids taller than 135cm (like older elementary schoolers) need to ride the regular Viking for adults.
My 6-year-old nephew is 100cm tall, and he had an absolute blast on it! 😄
Unfortunately, my own child—30 months old and under 90cm—wasn’t tall enough, so we had to skip it 😢
Drum & Twist Mini – For children 110cm and taller / Kids between 90–109cm can ride with an accompanying adult

This is a kid-friendly version of a thrilling free-fall ride! 😄🪂
Children between 90cm and 109cm need to ride with mom or dad — but they can still feel the rush!
Viking – For riders 110cm and taller

A giant pirate ship soaring through the sky! 🏴☠️🌊
This is the adult-sized Viking ride—full of thrilling swings and heart-racing fun! 🎢✨
Kids between 110cm and 135cm are actually lucky—they can ride both the Mini Viking and the big one! Double the fun! 😄🙌
Family Coaster – For riders 110cm and taller

This roller coaster zips through the forest with sharp turns, giving you a refreshing rush of speed and breeze! 🌲🎢💨
Only riders 110cm and taller can hop on.
It’s not as extreme as Everland’s T-Express (no 360-degree loops here!), but it still packs a punch—kind of like the classic Blue Dragon coaster!
My older elementary school-aged nephew absolutely loved it! 😄🙌
Magic Teacup – A fun spinning ride! Kids over 120cm can ride alone, while those between 90cm and 119cm need to join with a parent or guardian. Get ready to spin and giggle!

Join Alice and her friends for a magical spinning tea party! 🍵✨
Hop into a whirling teacup, dance to cheerful music, and feel just like a storybook character twirling through a wonderland!
Bumper Cars – For riders 120cm and taller

Zoom this way, crash that way – time flies when you’re driving a bumper car! 🚗💨💥
Feel the wind in your hair and enjoy the thrill of the ride!
Since bumper cars are solo rides, only children 120cm and taller can hop in and drive.
It’s all about speed, spins, and laughter!
Drop & Twist – For riders 130cm and taller / Riders between 120–129cm must be accompanied by an adult

Haunted House / Korean Ghost Story – For visitors 140cm and taller / Those between 110–139cm must be accompanied by an adult

The Haunted House and “Legend of the Korean Ghosts” are spine-chilling attractions where you can experience 100% real horror and fear! 👻💀
It’s a mix between a horror exhibit and an interactive walk-through attraction.
Perfect for older kids—especially upper elementary students and up—who are brave enough to face the ghosts!
Crazy Swing – For riders 150cm and taller / Riders between 130–149cm must be accompanied by an adult

This is a dizzying spin ride that twists and turns in every direction—nonstop! 🌀🎢
You’ll feel the ultimate thrill as you soar through the air at the height of a 10-story apartment building! 🏙️💨
Not for the faint of heart, but perfect for thrill-seekers!
Highly Recommended for Families with Young Kids! So Many Rides Even Toddlers Can Enjoy! 👶🎠
You know how heartbreaking it is when a child misses a ride just because they’re 1 or 2 centimeters too short? 😢
At the Korean Folk Village amusement park in Yongin, there are height restrictions—but what makes it awesome is that many rides allow toddlers to join with a parent, even if they’re under the limit!
Even kids under 90cm can enjoy several rides with mom or dad. Huge plus! 🙌
The park offers a wide variety of attractions, just like Seoul Land or Everland, but with one major difference: almost no long lines! 😍 We barely had to wait for anything!
🎟️ And here’s the best part: Once you pay the general admission fee, the amusement rides are totally free—no extra ticket needed!
Even better? Children under 36 months get in for free! That’s amazing value for families with little ones.
So instead of spending hours in line at Everland 🎢, head just next door to the Korean Folk Village and let your kids ride to their heart’s content with almost no waiting!
📌 Tip: Some rides may not operate due to maintenance or other reasons, so be sure to check the official website before you go!
